We take security very seriously, and do everything we can to ensure the integrity of your information. Our e-commerce solutions are PCI compliantSafe Harbor compliant, have multiple security scans (PCI requirements 1, 5, 6), and adhere to best practices wherever possible. The servers for the checkout process are all located in secure facilities (PCI requirement 9), and access to the systems are granted on a “need-to-know” basis (PCI requirement 7), as required by the PCI rules. Our e-commerce solution is currently a Visa CISP registered Level 1 Service Provider. This means that our systems are secured at the highest standards of PCI DSS.

Our e-commerce solution uses Trustwave as the ASV, is hosted at Tier 3 and Tier 4 datacentersSpecialized Security Services, Inc. as the QSA and security advisors.

Some orders ship the SAME DAY. Most orders ship within 24-48 HOURS while other orders may require longer for configuration or final buildout at the factory / warehouse. Some large or overweight items will ship via freight. We will attempt to contact you if we anticipate any delays. Shipping and handling charges calculated in the shopping cart are based upon the shipping address you provide and include the shipping carrier’s cost and any handling costs or fees that we may incur in the course of processing your order. The shipping charges calculated in the shopping cart, displayed on our website or charged to you may not necessarily be the current carriers rates or discounted rates. Shipping prices displayed on our site or calculated in the shopping cart may be below or above the current published rate of the respective carrier and may or may not include fuel surcharges or charges to offset the climate impact of this shipment such as UPS carbon neutral or any other charges imposed by the carrier.

The following are surcharges for specific situations:

  • Fuel surcharges may apply; these are charged by the carrier and are added to any shipping charges.
  • Extended delivery area surcharges.
  • Check carriers’ Terms and Conditions for other surcharges that may apply.

An incorrect shipping address will delay your package and will cause the shipping carrier to charge us a variable address correction fee on each box shipped to that incorrect address.  In order to recover the cost of the correction, we will charge your credit card or payment method used for the purchase the amount of the address correction fee from the carrier.

Duties and Taxes

On international orders, the recipient is responsible for payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Gift orders may be assessed duty depending on the country. Please contact your Customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items. Our shopping cart does not calculate duties that may be imposed on the particular items. We do not know how much additional cost the taxes and/or duties will be prior to preparing your order for shipment internationally. We are not responsible for any of these taxes or duties. They are the sole responsibility of the customer and acceptance of this is implied when you place an order with us. The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping and handling as well as all duties and taxes charged at the time of importation. Duties and taxes not paid when you receive your order but required by the governing body will be billed back to you using the same method of payment with which your original order was paid. We will try to consolidate orders into the fewest number of shipments so that you are charged the least amount possible on duties and taxes. Despite our efforts, we cannot guarantee that international orders with multiple items will ship in 1 box.

International shipments sometimes require additional time due to the carrier and / or customs. Please keep this in mind when your delivery is time sensitive.

Do You Offer Local Pickup?

We offer a 30 Day Return Policy for most items

All we are really asking is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition.  We are real people and understand things may have not gone as you planned or your may need to return it after this 30 Day period, just contact us if you have a special situation or need. Here are all the details for those special situations or for those that may try to abuse the system.

We will attempt to accept returns on most items, for any reason, as long as the following conditions are met:

  • Your return must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and be received by us within 30 days of the date of purchase. REQUEST A RMA HERE. Items received after this 30 day period are subject to our acceptance and may not be credited or refunded. If in doubt or want to talk about your situation, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

  • Proof of Purchase: We have to have a record of you purchasing the item from us. We will normally have this on file but you may be required to show proof of purchase on some orders.
  • Condition: The item being returned must be in new condition with factory seals intact (i.e. no scratches, seals broken or other signs of use). All original packing materials (boxes, bags, etc.) must be returned with the item and undamaged. If the item returned doesn’t qualify “As New”, then a restocking fee (typically 10%-25%) may be applied as a percentage of the amount originally charged for the item. Again, we are understanding people here and are willing to work with you if something didn’t go as planned for you so just contact us if you need an exception or have a special situation.
  • Reason for Return: In our Return Material Authorization (RMA), we will ask for a brief explanation why the item is being returned to us. This provides continuous product feedback and helps us understand product issues and your needs.
  • A Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. Please request an RMA here or contact one of our Return Material Authorization (RMA) representatives for an RMA number before returning any products to us. The RMA representative may request return approval for your product by our Technical Services department or manufacturer before an RMA can be issued.
  • Please note that we cannot accept products that you purchased from one of our Value Added Resellers (VARs) or any other third party. Please contact the VAR from whom you purchased when seeking potential replacement, repair or credit.
  • A Return Material Authorization does not guarantee a refund or replacement. If a refund is initially issued and we or the manufacturer of the product finds the problem to be due to “customer abuse” or any other factor, the credit will be reversed and you will be notified of such action. Aqua Technology Group will accept no responsibility nor issue credit for packages damaged in transit for any reason. It is your responsibility to assure that the product is properly packaged for shipment. We highly recommend that you insure the item for the amount of the potential credit that you are seeking.
  • Once the item is received and inspected by our fulfillment center (usually within 72 hours of receipt) we will process the return and then notify you of the approval of the item(s) for credit or refund. Your refund will then be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. We will refund you the purchased amount less shipping, handling and any restocking fees. Please note that depending on your credit card company or financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account. If you paid on a NET account, your account will be credited within the next billing cycle. If you paid via check, a refund check will be mailed within 2 business days.
  • Items that are generally not returnable include: any customized item, items with custom or “made to order” configurations, items with custom cables, custom lengths or dimensions, items with custom firmware or software, custom configurations, custom layouts, custom engraving or printing, custom labels, nameplates, made to order items, any non standard item or any product as deemed by us or the manufacturer as non returnable.
  • Items shipped outside the of the United States or Canada, or items shipped “internationally” cannot be returned under normal circumstances. If there is a product defect, we will make all reasonable efforts to work with you and / or the manufacturer to provide you a full replacement if the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions apply. Customer is responsible for all shipping, handling, duties, fees and taxes associated with the cost of replacement of an internationally shipped item(s). No shipping charges, handling fees, duties or taxes will be refunded.
  • If at all possible, please contact us prior to purchasing to confirm the specific return policy for any customized products you are intending to purchase.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Government Purchasing Cards, PayPal, Bitcoin via BitPay, Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer and Purchase Orders with approved credit.

We will gladly accept your check, however there will be a 10 Day holding period on shipment of your items. If your check is returned, your account will be debited electronically for the face amount plus any fees allowed by your state.

Our website used different terms to describe product availability.

  • ‘in stock’: These items will normally ship (or be in-transit to the customer) in 2 business days or less. These items are normally available to ship from the warehouses.
  • ‘available for order’: These items may take 2 or more business days prior to shipment to the customer. These items may require some configuration, packaging or assembly before shipping. All components should be in the warehouses or in the warehouses of our partners. If they are not in our warehouse, they are available to ship from the manufacturer’s warehouse in a reasonable amount of time or will arrive for shipment in the next few days.
  • ‘out of stock’: We are currently not accepting orders for this product. Please Contact Us to discuss other options.
  • ‘preorder’: We are taking orders for this product, but it’s not yet been released.

How We Calculate Taxes

  • Aqua Technology Group has a national footprint with headquarters located in the state of Ohio. We are obligated to charge sales tax respectively for delivery within Ohio, customer pick-up orders  and orders which are deemed taxable due to our other physical locations, domains and laws.
  • Sales tax rates varies by county and taxing authority.
  • Tax-exempt customers must submit their tax exemption certificate to avoid tax.
  • Gift Cards – No sales tax is charged when buying gift cards. The appropriate sales tax will be charged on the purchase when the gift card is used.
  • We do not add or collect sales tax for states we do not have physical presence in. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay appropriate tax to your state when necessary.
  • In states in which we do not have a physical presence, we may be required to charge applicable state and local sales tax on orders shipped if required to do so under state and/or local tax laws.
  • Some taxing authorities also require the taxable amount to include any shipping and handling charges, while others charge sales tax only on merchandise. We are required to follow the rules of each state.

Our website used different terms to describe product availability.

  • ‘in stock’: These items will normally ship (or be in-transit to the customer) in 2 business days or less. These items are normally available to ship from the warehouses.
  • ‘available for order’: These items may take 2 or more business days prior to shipment to the customer. These items may require some configuration, packaging or assembly before shipping. All components should be in the warehouses or in the warehouses of our partners. If they are not in our warehouse, they are available to ship from the manufacturer’s warehouse in a reasonable amount of time or will arrive for shipment in the next few days.
  • ‘out of stock’: We are currently not accepting orders for this product. Please Contact Us to discuss other options.
  • ‘preorder’: We are taking orders for this product, but it’s not yet been released.

Duties and Taxes

On international orders, the recipient is responsible for payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Gift orders may be assessed duty depending on the country. Please contact your Customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items. Our shopping cart does not calculate duties that may be imposed on the particular items. We do not know how much additional cost the taxes and/or duties will be prior to preparing your order for shipment internationally. We are not responsible for any of these taxes or duties. They are the sole responsibility of the customer and acceptance of this is implied when you place an order with us. The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping and handling as well as all duties and taxes charged at the time of importation. We offer a 30 Day Return Policy for most items

All we are really asking is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition.  We are real people and understand things may have not gone as you planned or your may need to return it after this 30 Day period, just contact us if you have a special situation or need. Here are all the details for those special situations or for those that may try to abuse the system.

We will attempt to accept returns on most items, for any reason, as long as the following conditions are met:

  • Your return must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and be received by us within 30 days of the date of purchase. REQUEST A RMA HERE. Items received after this 30 day period are subject to our acceptance and may not be credited or refunded. If in doubt or want to talk about your situation, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

  • Proof of Purchase: We have to have a record of you purchasing the item from us. We will normally have this on file but you may be required to show proof of purchase on some orders.
  • Condition: The item being returned must be in new condition with factory seals intact (i.e. no scratches, seals broken or other signs of use). All original packing materials (boxes, bags, etc.) must be returned with the item and undamaged. If the item returned doesn’t qualify “As New”, then a restocking fee (typically 10%-25%) may be applied as a percentage of the amount originally charged for the item. Again, we are understanding people here and are willing to work with you if something didn’t go as planned for you so just contact us if you need an exception or have a special situation.
  • Reason for Return: In our Return Material Authorization (RMA), we will ask for a brief explanation why the item is being returned to us. This provides continuous product feedback and helps us understand product issues and your needs.
  • A Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. Please request an RMA here or contact one of our Return Material Authorization (RMA) representatives for an RMA number before returning any products to us. The RMA representative may request return approval for your product by our Technical Services department or manufacturer before an RMA can be issued.
  • Please note that we cannot accept products that you purchased from one of our Value Added Resellers (VARs) or any other third party. Please contact the VAR from whom you purchased when seeking potential replacement, repair or credit.
  • A Return Material Authorization does not guarantee a refund or replacement. If a refund is initially issued and we or the manufacturer of the product finds the problem to be due to “customer abuse” or any other factor, the credit will be reversed and you will be notified of such action. Aqua Technology Group will accept no responsibility nor issue credit for packages damaged in transit for any reason. It is your responsibility to assure that the product is properly packaged for shipment. We highly recommend that you insure the item for the amount of the potential credit that you are seeking.
  • Once the item is received and inspected by our fulfillment center (usually within 72 hours of receipt) we will process the return and then notify you of the approval of the item(s) for credit or refund. Your refund will then be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. We will refund you the purchased amount less shipping, handling and any restocking fees. Please note that depending on your credit card company or financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account. If you paid on a NET account, your account will be credited within the next billing cycle. If you paid via check, a refund check will be mailed within 2 business days.
  • Items that are generally not returnable include: any customized item, items with custom or “made to order” configurations, items with custom cables, custom lengths or dimensions, items with custom firmware or software, custom configurations, custom layouts, custom engraving or printing, custom labels, nameplates, made to order items, any non standard item or any product as deemed by us or the manufacturer as non returnable.
  • Items shipped outside the of the United States or Canada, or items shipped “internationally” cannot be returned under normal circumstances. If there is a product defect, we will make all reasonable efforts to work with you and / or the manufacturer to provide you a full replacement if the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions apply. Customer is responsible for all shipping, handling, duties, fees and taxes associated with the cost of replacement of an internationally shipped item(s). No shipping charges, handling fees, duties or taxes will be refunded.
  • If at all possible, please contact us prior to purchasing to confirm the specific return policy for any customized products you are intending to purchase.

We take security very seriously, and do everything we can to ensure the integrity of your information. Our e-commerce solutions are PCI compliantSafe Harbor compliant, have multiple security scans (PCI requirements 1, 5, 6), and adhere to best practices wherever possible. The servers for the checkout process are all located in secure facilities (PCI requirement 9), and access to the systems are granted on a “need-to-know” basis (PCI requirement 7), as required by the PCI rules. Our e-commerce solution is currently a Visa CISP registered Level 1 Service Provider. This means that our systems are secured at the highest standards of PCI DSS.

Our e-commerce solution uses Trustwave as the ASV, is hosted at Tier 3 and Tier 4 datacentersSpecialized Security Services, Inc. as the QSA and security advisors.

How We Calculate Taxes

  • Aqua Technology Group has a national footprint with headquarters located in the state of Ohio. We are obligated to charge sales tax respectively for delivery within Ohio, customer pick-up orders  and orders which are deemed taxable due to our other physical locations, domains and laws.
  • Sales tax rates varies by county and taxing authority.
  • Tax-exempt customers must submit their tax exemption certificate to avoid tax.
  • Gift Cards – No sales tax is charged when buying gift cards. The appropriate sales tax will be charged on the purchase when the gift card is used.
  • We do not add or collect sales tax for states we do not have physical presence in. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay appropriate tax to your state when necessary.
  • In states in which we do not have a physical presence, we may be required to charge applicable state and local sales tax on orders shipped if required to do so under state and/or local tax laws.
  • Some taxing authorities also require the taxable amount to include any shipping and handling charges, while others charge sales tax only on merchandise. We are required to follow the rules of each state.
